Where our funds come from

As we are a cricket club, we are not a business or a charity and we have to work very hard to pay for the rent for the clubhouse, the ground and the car park.  Along with this we have to pay for the electricity, machinery, water, wifi.... everything a normal household has to pay for.

We rely on holding events at the club along with your support to bring in money to pay for all of these facilities which unfortunately doesn't leave much money for improvements.

 

At the end of 2023 we managed to update our clubhouse, and in 2024 we replaced and extended the decking which looks fabulous and has made a vast improvement to the area outside of the clubhouse and the funds for this came from Party at the Pavilion so your support of our events is imperative to help us to continue making improvements.

We've recently held a cake sale at NatWest Bank, who often support us with fundraising where they can. They often double the money made from some of our smaller fundraising activities which is fabulous.

​Our aim for the end of 2025 / beginning of 2026 is to have some new practice nets in place which will be a great addition to the club and will provide the facilities needed to help the colts and adults improve their game.
